About me
I work as an Associate Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at São Paulo State University - UNESP, located in Ilha Solteira, Brazil. I am also a Research Fellow with the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq/Brazil).
I earned my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from UNESP - Ilha Solteira, where I was also a FAPESP Graduate Research Fellow. In 2008, I completed my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), with a Sandwich Doctorate scholarship at Université de Franche-Comté (Besançon, France) in 2007. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to conduct research abroad, including a Visiting Researcher position at Arts et Métiers - ENSAM in Paris, France, from 2019 - 2020, supported by a São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) fellowship.
I am also a member of the editorial board of the Journal of the Brazilian Society of Mechanical Sciences and Engineering.
